1. Introduction

Indoor Cricket Scorer ("the App") is operated by Alif Developers (ABN 33615170425). This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your information when you use the App on the web, iOS or Android.

2. Information We Collect

• Account information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google. We do not receive or store your Google password.
• Match data: Scores, player names, team names and match statistics that you create while using the App.
• Device information: Basic device type and browser information for analytics and bug fixing.
• Push notification tokens: If you enable push notifications, we store a device token provided by Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to deliver notifications. This token does not contain personal information and is used solely for sending notifications you have opted into.
• Notification preferences: Your choices about which types of notifications you wish to receive.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the scoring service
• To display your matches, statistics and leaderboards
• To allow other users to view live match scores you share
• To send push notifications about match events, tournament updates, and league activity you have opted into
• To improve the App and fix bugs

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely on Supabase (powered by PostgreSQL) with servers located in Sydney, Australia. All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Match data you create may be visible to other users if you share the match link or if the match is part of a public league or tournament.

6. Third-Party Services

• Google OAuth: For authentication. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
• Supabase: For database and authentication services. Governed by Supabase's Privacy Policy.
• Vercel: For web hosting. Governed by Vercel's Privacy Policy.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging: For push notification delivery. We send only device tokens to Firebase; no personal data is shared. Governed by Firebase's Privacy Policy.

7. Your Rights

You can:

• Sign out at any time to stop data collection
• Disable push notifications in your device settings or in-app preferences
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Contact us to access or correct your information

8. Data Retention

Match data is retained indefinitely to maintain historical records and statistics. If you request account deletion, your personal information (name, email, profile picture) will be removed. Anonymised match data may be retained for statistical purposes.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
